The Pro-Ject MC Step Up Box DS3 B is a very powerful way to increase the output voltage of low-output MC cartridges. It allows you to connect MCs to the MM input. You do not need a power connection for the Step Up Box DS3!

Step-up transformers do not require an external power supply as they work completely passively and bring the low voltage of an MC cartridge to MM level almost noise-free. The signal remains clean and has less harmonic distortion compared to a conventional MC phono stage.

MC Step Up DS3 B is our premium solution with high-quality Lundahl LL 1678 audio transformers and offers both single-ended and balanced inputs and outputs for optimum signal transmission.

The MC Step Up speakers are manufactured in Europe and are available in silver or black aluminium housing.
